Sourced from the heart of the growing regions
Native to the mountainous regions of Asia, Rhodiola rosea used in RhodioZen® is sourced from carefully selected cultivation areas in provinces recognized for providing optimal conditions for the growth of this botanical species.
Altitude: Mid-mountain elevations ranging from 1,500 to 2,500 meters
(Higher light intensity and lower atmospheric pressure.)
Climate: Cooler temperatures that support the plant’s natural dormancy cycle.
Terrain: Well-drained, rocky soils conducive to optimal growth conditions.
A structured supply chain
Rigorous quality control
Comprehensive analyses are systematically performed to verify the quality of the raw materials. These include the identification and quantification, by HPLC, of the four characteristic secondary metabolites: Salidroside, Rosavin, Rosarin, and Rosin. Testing also covers chemical contaminants, as well as microbiological parameters.
A dedicated monitoring program is implemented to ensure that product safety, quality, and regulatory compliance are consistently maintained throughout the entire production process.
A supply chain compliant with CITES requirements
Since 2023, the genus Rhodiola spp. has been listed in Appendix II of CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora), which includes species subject to enhanced monitoring of international trade to support their long-term conservation.
This regulation requires full traceability of the raw material, from harvesting through to importation. RhodioZen® aligns with these requirements through a rigorous control system and the acquisition of all necessary harvesting, export, and import permits, ensuring a transparent and compliant supply chain.
Built to drive Innovation
This high level of quality and supply chain control enables the development of innovative solutions designed to address multiple health challenges.
